Alex Teachey

Actor, "Bob" who thinks he's Bob the Goon

Alex is delighted to make his return to the stage after a four year hiatus. He earned his BFA in Theater at NYU, studying at the Atlantic Acting School, and most recently appeared in a production of Someone Who'll Watch Over Me at Canal Park Playhouse (The TRUF Theater Company, dir. Justin Lauro). Alex now happily spends his days as a graduate student in astrophysics at Columbia University, where he is engaged in the search for exomoons -- moons orbiting planets around other stars.

Phillip Christian

Actor, "Jim" who thinks he's The Spectre

Phillip Christian has worked all over America as a regional theatre actor.  He was last seen at Yale Rep in A Streetcar Named Desire.  He has worked at Sonnet Repertory Theatre, The Classical Theatre of Harlem, a season at The Alabama Shakespeare Festival, NYSF, The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, Cincinnati Playhouse in The Park, The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, The Great Lakes Theatre Festival, Emerge @ The Crossroads, Milwaukee Rep, and Hartford Stage.   As a writer his play Biological Tick was a finalist for The Princess Grace Award.  He has studied playwriting at ESPA Primary Stages with Brooke Berman, Tessa LaNeve, Halley Feiffer, and upcoming Kara Lee Corthron.  Other plays include The Weird Sisters and Jig*a*boo. Phillip co-wrote and starred in the short film The Wrath of Siri, which can be seen in its entirety on Youtube.  He is a graduate of The University of New Mexico and Yale School of Drama.  He is a founding member of The Playwriting Collective.

John Carhart

Actor, "Jonathan" The Therapist

Starting his acting career in the 90’s, John appeared Off-Broadway working with John Glines and on screen with John Waters in “Hairspray”, "Guiding Light” and the cult horror classic “There’s Nothing Out There”. He then segued into working as a TV/Digital Producer and Film Editor creating and co-hosting “Daily Shot with Ali Wentworth” for Yahoo!. After more than a decade, John returns to his first love, having recently graduated from the 2-year acting conservatory at William Esper Studio. He recently guest-starred on the new sitcom “Nightcap” for the POP Network.

Jolynn Carpenter

Jolynn Carpenter is known for her work in independent films (Run Out; Blizzard Buddies; 7th Floor Shuffle), webseries (Living in Exile), and theatre (The Three Sisters; Bard @ the Bar; It's a Hardbop Life). She would like to thank Tim for being her twin flame, and her family for cheering her on.

LaGina Hill

Actor, "Sybil" who thinks she's Spiral

LaGina Hill (Sybil) is delighted to be making her debut with the Playwriting Collective.  Recent/Favorite credits include Pathways PSA with RSA Films and the independent feature Chrysalis. Also a sketch comedy writer, she currently writes for BoogieManja at the PIT Loft. Matt Mingle

Actor, "Artie" who thinks he's Mr. Gone

Originally from central Pennsylvania, Matt is a graduate of Alfred University and Circle in the Square's summer acting conservatory.  Matt has been involved in the development of Bob the Goon for over a year and is excited to be cast in its first full run.  Matt lives in Astoria, Queens and is an avid Frisbee player and miniature golfer.

Joshua Young

Playwright

As a writer Josh has had work developed or produced at: The HERE Arts Center, Dixon Place, NYMadness, Naked Angels, Primary Stages, FringeNYC, MITF, and Planet Connections.  His work has been supported by The 2015 Playwrights Horizons/ Kenyon Institute Playwriting Conference.  He’s a proud member of the Dramatists Guild as well as an IATSE technician and designer.  As a designer his work can be seen in the MoMA film exhibition 100 Years of Post.  He is a founding member of The Playwriting Collective, a playwright driven initiative designed to give voice to artists who’ve emerged from poverty.   http://www.JoshuaDYoung.com

WI-MOTO NYOKA  is a performer and transmedia artist. Awards and honors include: Tanzhaus NRW Interdisciplinary Works artist in residence, Puffin Foundation grant recipient, the Brick’s Comic Book Theater Festival 2014 selected librettist, A.R.T/New York Creative Space Grant recipient, Indie Boots Theater Festival Finalist & Audience Award Honorable Mention 2015. She is currently attending the Brooklyn College MFA program for Performance & Interactive Media Arts.

Laura Ramadei

General Manager

Laura Ramadei is a Founding Member and Producing Director of Lesser America, currently in residence at Cherry Lane Theatre. She also currently serves as the Director of Creative Development for the American Playwriting Foundation. A graduate of Denver School of the Arts and NYU, Tisch, she's performed and worked behind the scenes at The Public Theater, HERE Arts Center, Theater for the New City, Theater 80, Ensemble Studio Theater, The Barrow Group, and with LAByrinth, among others.
